EverLogic
DealershipSoft and EverLogic, compared
EverLogic is QuickBooks certified and priced per licence. DealershipSoft runs the whole dealership across seven trades, includes a user and charges $20 a month for each one after that. As your service department grows, those two pricing models go in very different directions.
It runs the whole dealership
Units in and out, deals and trade-ins, parts, customers, management reporting and the books, with your own accounting package behind it.
Most systems in this category were built for the sales floor and had a workshop added later. This one was not, and it shows in the things that only bite once you are using it every day. Splitting a job across two technicians. Reopening a closed card without a workaround. Seeing every repair a unit has had under three previous owners, so a trade-in valuation is a fact rather than a guess.
What happens as the team grows
EverLogic is priced per licence, so every person you add costs another full licence. DealershipSoft includes one user and charges $20 a month for each additional one. At one or two users that favours them. By the time your service department, your parts counter and your sales desk are all in the system, the two totals have moved a long way apart.
We are not going to print their price here, because prices change and an out of date comparison is worse than none. Put your real headcount into both and see what comes out. Ours is on the website, so that side of the sum takes ten seconds.
Things worth checking for elsewhere
Business intelligence
Included from Gold, not sold as a premium analytics tier. Where the margin actually came from this month, by department, by technician, by unit type.
A full mobile app
Not a technician companion app. Create the booking, open the job, add parts and photos, clock on, complete the inspection and finalise the job, all from the phone. No extra charge.
Unit inspections
Structured inspections against the unit, with photos, that turn into quoted work instead of a scribbled list that never gets sold.
A website, on Platinum
WorkshopWeb is included on the Platinum plan and it is built to be found. We do not run your ad campaigns, but you are not left without a site.

Where EverLogic is strong
Two decades in the market, a broad list of dealer types, a service module with a built-in calendar, multiple jobs, a technician time clock and automatic parts reconciliation, and QuickBooks certification that nobody else in this category claims.
If QuickBooks is the centre of your business and you want software built around it, that certification is worth something. If you run Xero, or you expect the headcount in the system to grow, the arithmetic goes the other way.
